BANKS

It’s been a few days since the night of the video call and Hudson cumming all over my face. I heard fireworks the other night which means New Year’s Eve has come and gone. My body feels dirty. Not just from the dried cum in my hair and rubbed into my skin. Because contrary to what Hudson asked, I was not letting it just sit on me as it was until they let me out. My hair is greasy and while I would never admit it, if they offered me a shower in exchange for something, there is a good chance I would take it. I don’t know what that says about me, but at this point I don’t really care. Any shame I had is long gone. Nothing is beneath me considering my current circumstances.

Staring at the exposed ceiling, wires and wooden beams above me, I shake my head out of frustration. They have to let me out soon. The new school semester is going to start and people will wonder where I am if I don’t show up. They have to let me out.

I have refused to cry since the first night. I keep reminding myself that I am strong, that I can make it through anything they throw at me. Only a couple more days. It has to be only a couple more days.

The guys have been more standoffish when they drop my food and water off. Apparently, the bait they gave me worked against them. The little joke or spat between them has escalated and I am being punished for it.

Speaking of the devils, I hear two sets of footsteps making their way down to me. The light has been on for hours, my concept of time is completely forgone.

“Hello, boys.” The tone I greet them with is dull. It is usually them with their witty remarks when making their grand entrance, but this time, I beat them to it. Hudson smirks, I can tell he is impressed. His face shows everything, it is nearly impossible for him to hide anything. Landon remains unimpressed, his usual expression never changing. A phone rings, and Hudson puts his finger up, taking the call.

“Coach,” is all he says when answering. My heart races. If I scream, he could help me. Or question why I hang out with students. Fuck. It’s a fifty-fifty chance.

Landon’s eyes zero in on me, silently daring me to do it and the temptation is strong. The consequences if I do, may not be worth it.

“Adams? Really? I mean yeah, of course. As long as he’s good, Coach.” Hudson responds. Lynx Adams left voluntarily, putting himself into rehab earlier this semester. He’s Hudson’s linemate and the team’s left winger. The two of them together are unstoppable. I wonder if he is coming back. Landon is paying close attention to his brother, curious about what is being said on the other end of that phone. We don’t have to wait long, Hudson hangs up shortly after.

Putting his phone away, he looks up at me while speaking to his brother.
